A Conservation Neighborhood in the Galisteo Basin

New Moon Overlook is a Galisteo Basin Preserve conservation neighborhood consisting of twenty home sites. Commonweal Conservancy has sold all of the New Moon Overlook parcels. The Galisteo Basin Preserve aims to protect part of the Galisteo Basin, a deeply loved landscape in north-central New Mexico that is celebrated for its scenic, cultural resource, and wildlife habitat values. As a conservation-based community development project, the Preserve will underwrite the conservation of more than 12,000 acres of open space through the development of a tightly knit and resource efficient mixed-use, mixed-income village development.
